Contaminants in Greenland foodThe Greenlandic population is exposed to high intake of some contaminants from local food. The sources are known to some degree, but an overall knowlegde of contaminant levels in the local food eaten in Greenland is missing. The project aims at providing this knowledge over a three year study period. Samples already collected as part of other studies and new samples will be analysed for cadmium, mercury, selenium and POPs. |
