AMAP biological time trend programme

The AMAP biological time trend programme vill focus on time trends over a five year period (1999-2004) for selected contaminants and media in two regions of Greenland, at Qeqertarsuaq/Godhavn on the west coast and at Ittoqortormiit/Scoresbysund on the east coast. Species included in the programme are landlocked Arctic char, sculpins, black guillemot and ringed seal. Analyses will be conducted for cadmium, mercury, selenium and a suite of POPs including PCBs.
